A Two-Day Lake Como Wedding Between Mountains, Lake and Italian Flavours

This unforgettable Lake Como wedding celebrated the love of a couple of Swiss origins, Ieva & Christian, and brought together almost one hundred guests for a two-day destination wedding experience. Rather than simply organising a single wedding day, the celebration was designed as a journey through the different landscapes and atmospheres surrounding Lake Como.

The celebrations began with a relaxed and convivial pizza party at a charming restaurant in the nearby mountains, giving guests the opportunity to experience a completely different side of the destination before the wedding day. From mountain views and authentic Italian flavours to the elegance of the lake, a religious ceremony and a boat journey across the water, the couple offered their guests a wonderfully varied experience and a true taste of the beauty of Northern Italy.

The following day brought everyone together for the wedding celebration, combining a traditional religious ceremony with the unforgettable experience of travelling by boat on Lake Como. With almost one hundred guests, careful planning and logistics were essential to ensure that every transfer, location and moment of the celebration flowed smoothly, while allowing guests to enjoy the changing scenery throughout this special two-day wedding weekend.

I know for sure the best wedding locations in Italy, above all in Tuscany. And let’s say some special wedding places all over Italy! Even if I am based in Florence I am definitely a water element person and by the way Florence has its own river. This makes me somehow feel happy where I am, besides the fact that Florence is a wonderful city on its own.
